English Language Challenges

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today i'm going to talk about engllish language challenges. As I mentioned in a previous post, I have always liked English and learning it, I haved luck of haved so goods teachers in my basic education, and it has not made it difficult for me to practice it as some people I have met, also I listening to a lot of music in English, so I always look the lyrics and their translation. I think what has cost me the most has been the verb conjugations depending on the verb tense in which we are speaking, also learn the use of contractions like “she will, she'll”, and using words in more formal contexts and others in more everyday contexts like "I want, I wanna". But learning noun, verbs or numbers has not been difficult for me. I consider that speaking and writing in English are at the same level of difficulty for me, maybe that speaking very slightly is more complicated, because first of all you have to have a knowledge and control of the words you want t...

Changes To My Study Programme

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about changes to my study programme. I chose to study psychology at the University of Chile, because precisely its study program was very interesting to me since I investigated about it. I consider it to be a fairly comprehensive program, since in the first year it is an introduction to the social sciences as such, to contextualize about the interdisciplinary area in which we develop both academically and professionally. We are exposed to subjects such as anthropology, philosophy, psychobiology, sociology, also Chilean social history to delve into the national context, among others that are introductory to the discipline such as personality psychology and basic psychological processes and basic learning processes. In the second year, branches of psychology are already being taught as an in-depth discipline, in fact, it is considered the most difficult year of the degree, since branches such as psychopathology, developmental psychology, ...

Personal Opinions

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about "personal opinions". I must admit that my parents always instilled in me to be respectful of the rest, and as I grew up they always taught me that all opinions are valid, since we are all different beings and we will never be able to think the same way. Despite this, I grew up in a context (place where I have lived) where people talk a lot about the rest no matter what and I never really liked that. I really like listening to different opinions, generally when I agree with one I make it known, and when I disagree I just keep silent and listen, I do not like to enter into discussions where the arguments are subjective opinions, therefore, they are all valid and each with their own thoughts. Although when the opinions are offensive towards someone else or disqualify or try to be imposed, I enter into discussion and try that the person who made the bad comment, reconsider what it have done, no matter who it is. In my ad...

Themed Post 3 - My pets

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about my beautiful pets. Since I was little they taught me to love my pets and that they were part of the family. In my home we have two turtles of approximately 20 years, in my family they do not remember the exact date when they arrived, but they do remember that I was a baby. Some vets have told us that one is female and the other male, however, despite always being together, they have never had babies, they have told us that it was because the aquarium is not the optimal place for this. I also had a dog named "Luli", she was 3 months old when she came to my home in 2006 and lived until she was 11 years old, she was a mixed race black with white, she did not like bathing at all, and she loved dancing in two legs with my dad. When the Luli was older, Gizmo (dog) arrived, we bought it from a schoolmate, he arrived 3 months old and is currently 6 years old, he is a white poodle and his size is small-medium, he is a little hysteri...

Post Graduate Studies

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about post graduate studies. To be honest, I have thought about this many times throughout my career, sometimes I have thought about continuing in the line of psychology (that is what I am currently studying), other times in studying another career (I had always liked  pedagogy in basic education), or simply, when I am very collapsed, I only think about finishing this degree and not continuing with anything else. In this moment, I can say that I want to work for a time after finish mi degree, because through the generation of income (if it is not difficult for me to get a job haha), I want to fulfill some goals that I have for that age approximately and that they are a priority before continuing studying. But, sometimes when I think about the possibility of continuing with my studies, I have always had the idea of continue them outside the country, for example, I'll like to study in another Latinamerican country like Brazil or Argent...
